Brief
Capital Legal, in partnership with five of WA's most respected settlement agencies, set out to solve the problem of having their staff spend hours every week responding to common questions about WA settlement law.
Problem
Every week WA settlement agencies deal with hundreds of questions seeking further understanding of their settlement documents and trying to understand how Western Australian property laws applies. This was costing each settlement agent hours each week to scour through internal resources and sites like Landgate to find an answer.
Solution

Our chatbot draws on the following sources for its knowledge base:
- Curated documents from the five settlement agencies.
- Real time web scraping from Landgate and Australian Government websites.
- Custom instructions and training from WA settlement experts.
To enable the team to continue improving SettleIQ, we have created a custom admin page for knowledge base management. This gives admins granular control over exactly what is in chatbot's knowledge base, allowing SettleIQ to stay up to date and evolve with the everchanging property law landscape.

This solution was deployed, hosted and maintained by AI Advancements and is currently running in production.
Result
Capital Legal and the five settlement agencies now have their own custom chatbot capable of answering the common questions they recieve. This has succesfully been used to offer a better experience to clients, save employee time and serves as a lead magnet to direct users towards the approriate settlement agents to help with their queries.
